Utahime thinks she knows Gojo Satoru.
Well, enough to know he’s just her carefree, freakishly strong, lanky underclassman who loves to make fun of her all the time.
Yeah, she thought, even though he is the strongest sorcerer of their generation (what a title), he was still just a little kid in the end. He was immature, arrogant, and didn’t like following the rules. A pain. But otherwise, he was as normal as a person with his powers could be.
Yet.
There were moments where his behavior would change, around her specifically. Behavior that was concerning to anyone who watched with a close enough eye. Behavior that would change Utahime’s view of Gojo as just an annoying kid to something else entirely.

Summary
After discovering that Gojo had been dating her because of a bet—and that he planned to discard her the moment he succeeded in taking her to bed—Utahime swore she would make him pay. She did everything she could to force the man, who feared commitment and long-term relationships, to end their bond that was built solely on lies. She tried countless ways, yet for some reason, Gojo still hadn’t broken up with her. Utahime was certain he felt nothing for her. Her entire world turned upside down. The plan she had crafted to sever ties with him had backfired, twisting into a trap that would bind them with the vow of marriage. Now, she had no choice but to search for a way to undo the promise that threatened to chain them together.

Summary
During a weeklong conference in Okinawa, Utahime needs to: 1) make a good impression to please her boss, 2) mingle with important sorcerers from all over the world, 3) avoid awkward conversations about her cursed technique, 4) work on a presentation about sorcery with her other colleague, 5) enjoy some much-needed respite on the beach and in the ocean, and 6) ignore the urge to blow up on Gojo Satoru and embarrass herself in a professional setting.
But with the resurgence of old memories, unsettling concerns about other sorcerers' ulterior motives, and feelings better left unsaid rising to the surface, Utahime learns the hard way that needing and wanting are two very different things.
(Or, every good show needs a Beach Episode, but let's make it complicated.)
