Summary
Rocky didn't mention the asteroid belt surrounding Erid's Solar System. After a meteor collides with the Mary, Rocky suffers a fall and is out for the count. Grace knows very little Eridian, but by God, he's gonna get his friend some help.
It's just too bad the Eridians think they're talking to a pebble.

Summary
The arrival at Erid is a momentous occasion. Rocky is excited and thrilled. Ryland is overwhelmed. But the reunion is happy, beautiful, amazing.
Or that's what it should have been. Except Rocky gets hurt, Ryland is left to try and communicate with an alien planet, and everyone is scrambling to figure out how to do this. To Grace, this is incredible but also bittersweet - he got Rocky home safely with the taumoeba, now he just gets... to starve. To Erid, this is insane - how did Rocky show up in an alien spaceship with a child???

Ryland Grace is stuck trying to speak Eridian, immediately makes himself sound like a child, and Rocky's world and family scramble to help this strange pebble. Misunderstandings galore, alongside hurt/comfort and angst and fluff.

Summary
Ryland Grace is trying to find his footing in a world where he's been blacklisted from what feels like every higher academic institution in the world. Teaching middle school science wasn't really where he planned on ending up, but he's enjoying it far more than his other academic career. Sure, his students can be unbearable at times, but it's not like they're going to publicly humiliate and ridicule him about his life's work.
Sierra Six is trying to get out from under the feet of people who'd rather see him dead in a ditch somewhere, all while adamantly not thinking to hard about the death of the closest person he had to a father. Summary
What the title says. About 11 years ago (from my perspective; relativity is weird) I was launched into space onboard the Hail Mary to figure out a solution to the Astrophage problem. Now I live on an alien planet I call Erid, in the 40-Eridani system. Yes, I’m actually Ryland Grace. Ask me anything.
Also, can someone please tell me if Eva Stratt is alive? And ideally send me a video of you punching her in the face? Guess that’s a long shot, but it can’t hurt to ask.
