Summary
As far as he knows, Jeongguk arrived to Namjoon’s doorstep and has only left it on two occasions - for a doctor’s visit and a trip to the courthouse to get his birth certificate and social security. Even his cooperation with police has been done from the comfort of Namjoon’s living room.
Jeongguk is an owner of some things now, an email, and a pay-as-you-go phone that Hoseok brought him that he claimed was an old one of his. Jeongguk doesn’t care much about these things yet, but it’s all part of Namjoon’s plan to get him on his feet and out into the world.
He just hasn’t seen much of the world outside this door.

Summary
The ever-lengthening string of numbers is dangerous, because it’s familiar. It speaks in his voice. It slithers in under his radar and weaves between coping mechanisms and treatment goals until they’re buried under a sea of justifications, and Jungkook can’t even remember why he wanted to get better in the first place.
It’s a surprise to exactly no one but himself when he hits rock bottom.
