Summary
I'm working on another story where teenage Frank is like, "Man, fuck the Catholic church for telling me I'm not supposed to like cock." And while writing it, I got this image in my head of a different Frank, a Frank who, like, really had faith in God and who was struggling to be the kind of person the church would approve of.
I tried writing it, but quickly realized that it was just way too big for me. Like, if I actually tried to do it justice it would take me years, and I don't really have that sort of work ethic. So it became a not!fic. Yay?

“It has to feel real.” Gerard said with certainty. It was just like everything else he did. Even the shows, when Gerard was covered in fake blood and spouting demented nonsense at the crowd. It was somehow all still real, still authentic.

tl;dr It's another Cheerleader!Gerard fic but I got carried away
Frank's been good this tour. He's almost entirely mastered the art of being cool when it comes to Gerard - so much so that he can almost convince himself that he really is over him. Sort of.
But Gerard isn't quite ready to let this situation go. As he lures Frank in with increasingly obvious flirting, enabling some of Frank's more obscene proclivities, and blurring the lines beyond comprehension, Frank can't help but feel confused by the signals he's receiving.And then, of course, there's the dress. And really, what's Frank really supposed to do with that?
