Summary
It’s a nice, cool, jubilant night, and Nori is doing his damnedest not to cry.
He’s leaning against a wall, staring blankly down at his trembling arms, marred with ugly, glaring scars. The sleeves of his shirt are rolled up to his elbows, and the cool breeze bites against the exposed flesh.
He’s been here, leaning against the dark, freezing stone walls of Erebor, for nearly an hour now. His arms have only intensified with their trembling, and his breathing is quick, sharp, uneven gasps. It’s a panic attack, he knows, but he can’t tear his gaze away from the long, serrated, bumpy scars along his arms, given to him by a group of cruel Orcs who had jumped him during that Final Battle and dragged him, kicking and screaming, into a deep, dark, rancid smelling cave, where they pinned him down and tore at his clothes and then–
Stop.
Don’t.
Don’t think about it.
Just. Just breathe.
The only thing worse than Orcs in Dwarven culture is a warrior taking their own life. Cowardly, they’d call him. Funny how he’s cowardly enough to steal but not cowardly enough to die.

Summary
Deadpool actually jumps with glee at that. “Oh-em-gee! We should totally call ourselves Team Red!” He shouts, flailing his arms about like he’s drowning and not standing on dry-ass concrete.
Jason huffs, tilting his head towards the very-obviously-Not-Red-alien-with-abs-thing standing literally just an arm’s length away. “Eh. Not quite Team Red.”
Venom nods agreeably, Daredevil cocks his head to the side like a puppy, and Deadpool, to Jason's absolute goddamn chagrin, pouts.
What the actual fuck.

Summary
The Joker knows. He’s always known the little birdie’s secret. Jason Todd may be a dead man legally, but the Joker knows of the little birdie’s resurrection; of the pit-madness roaring through his veins; of the alias he goes by, now, one that the Joker is very familiar with. Oh, yes, the Joker knows. He knows he knows he knows…
The Joker smiles.
“Looks like the birdie’s come back to play ha ha HA ha HA!”In which the Joker isn’t killed so simply. In which the Joker, the looming shadow behind Batman’s own, doesn’t go down falling. He goes down laughing. He goes down laughing with his claws thoroughly ingrained in the little birdie he killed. And will kill, again and again and again because the mind is many things, but “resilient” isn’t one of them.

Summary
A rabid zombie who thinks he’s sane (he isn’t), a blind man who plays with sharp objects, a constantly disheveled guy with an alien kink, and a man who wears spandex with an obsession with furries all walk into a bar, proceed to accidentally murder everyone in the building while apologizing profusely (except the rabid zombie, that guy’s fucked up), make fun of extremely dangerous criminals, fall through interdimensional holes that show up out of nowhere, and end up saving the world. Not entirely in that order.
Maybe they learn some stuff about each other and themselves along the way—you never know.

Summary
"It was almost inconsequential in the general gist of things. Robert would not have given it a second thought if not for the weird tension that sprouted after, and the fact that his team made a bigger deal than it had to be. It was not like he was actually hurt, not really, the fingers were not even broken. Probably. It was fractured at most, in his personal opinion. "
Or
The team slowly figuring out Robert's insanely high pain tolerance and progressively getting more worried about it.

Summary
The figure… It's Robert. It has to be.
Waterboy tries to step back, but he stumbles on the wet floor, thudding into the shipping container beside him. Robert goes still.
His head jerks up, eyes rolling wildly to make contact. Bloodshot. He's crouched on the floor of the warehouse like an animal, low and cornered. Blood is splattered over his face, and as he lifts his head, Waterboy can tell it's streaked down his chin like he must have sunk his teeth into something and held on. When he bares his teeth, they've been licked clean.
He shakily, slowly, like the movement’s might provoke an attack, fumbles for his radio. “Guys? Uh- found- I. I Robert found- no, that's not. I found- uhm.”
(Warning changed to Mature because of the violence. Just to be safe, honestly.)
