If he looked at the reflection on the window, jeweled eyes stared back.
Under the sunshine, biassed by the transparent window, they glimmer. The color was like precious, non-heated ruby. Deep and beautiful, sucking and drowning anyone who stared at them.
No, he was not a self-centered bastard, fawning over himself. These eyes, or more precisely, the color of his eyes, were not his. The turquoise of his eyes had burned up into ruby the night of his birthday.
Such an extraordinary way to be matched.
