Summary
The Catacombs go differently: Zuko joins the Avatar and abandons Azula. Ba Sing Se is reported as a failure. Azula, fearing the consequences, flees from her royal life and hides in Ba Sing Se, working as an assassin under Long Feng. Five years later, she is faced with a conflict that could disrupt the peace she has worked to build. For Katara, the Hundred Year War that has been over for five years still affects her in every way possible. On the behalf of her indisposed brother and as a favor to Zuko, she travels to Ba Sing Se after a diplomatic issue and is dragged into an unfortunate situation after several misunderstandings.

“You are enough just as you are, and anybody who tells you different will find themselves laid out for spit’n that kind of bullshit at my kid.” He tucks her into his chest as the first broken sobs burst past her lips.
She might be eighteen, a legal adult, but she’s still just a kid looking for the comfort of a parent.
