Summary
Husk woke exhausted and frustrated with the day before it could even begin. His head was pounding and he didn't have it in him to deal with any of the bullshit that would come his way. On top of that, why does Angel always just have to be right. Fucking. There. Kind, gentle, understanding and Husk, in this moment, couldn't handle it. It was overwhelming. Suffocating. Why couldn't everything just stop?

Summary
My brain couldn't think of a good summary so here's an excerpt instead:

“Hey! Angel welcome back. I got your drink ready right here,” Angel heard Husk enthusiastically call out to him from behind the bar.Angel paused briefly on his quest to his room, still out of breath. Summary
Takes place after season 2, episode 3: "Behind Closed Doors."
Angel was exhausted after the day's events and just wanted to forget all about it. He had hated the charade Charlie tried to pull, almost leading to he and Husk's demise. On top of that Vox went out of his way to embarrass Angel by bringing up his life to the group. He was at loss for what to do and just hoped the day would end so he could forget all about it. Despite how much he wished to move on, a cat demon wouldn't make that easy for him. Angel appreciated Husk wanting to be there for him, but sometimes he wished the other would take the fucking hint and drop the topic. Too bad Husk is just as stubborn as he is.
