It’s not the same as seeing it on video or listening to the general comedic banter of ‘don’t make Banner angry, you won’t like him when he’s angry’ when someone makes a smartass comment about ‘the Big Guy’ as if Doc turns into a temperamental forklift instead of a walking extinction event in torn pants.

Summary
In the 40s, omega slick was commonly used to give alphas fighting in the war a cutting edge, due to the heightened endurance and strength that came with rutting. Soon after World War Two ended, the practice was abolished as it could lead to addiction and dangerously long ruts.

“Alpha.” Bucky whispered against Sam’s neck, his voice sounding like he hadn’t used it in decades.
Before Sam could say anything in response, Bucky moved his head slightly–lifting his flesh hand up to near the side of his head. Sam watched as Bucky ripped the clear scent blocker patch that was attached to his neck off, tossing it onto the floor and lowering his head back down.
A sickly sweet citrus scent mixed with something warm like cinnamon or ginger filled Sam’s nose immediately. He knew what was happening, he knew Bucky must’ve been scenting him–but he just couldn’t believe it.
