Bucky answers an ad himself, desperate for a fresh start and intrigued by the thought of making something where there was nothing before, of creating instead of killing. The alpha he answers says everything Bucky wants to hear: new life, fresh start, successful and happy future. Its enough to get Bucky on a train to the Kansas Territory and onto a future they will make together.
