It’d been a week or so since his escape from the Dursleys, and Mr Lupin(“call me Remus”) hadn’t stopped being nice. Harry didn’t understand. The Dursleys had never pretended for this long, never when they were alone. They’d barely bothered to act nice to him in front of the neighbourhood(“such a delinquent, just like his parents”) or his teachers(“you know he bullies our Dudley at home, can’t be too lenient with him”). But Mr Lupin had said his parents were heroes, and he hadn’t lied about Harry’s new room, or how much food he’d be allowed, or anything else. Yet. He’d just been… nice. No one stayed nice to Harry.

Remus saves Harry from the Dursleys and then saves Harry from a thunderstorm

Qifrey’s been dreaming lately.
They're filled with a warmth that Qifrey has only ever felt briefly in passing but that nevertheless fills him up until he’s sweltering with a longing for something he isn’t meant to have. Sometimes it’s so overwhelming that he finds himself awoken with remnant leaves scattered across his pillow and an aching emanating from where his right eye should be.
Yet, despite the possible pain, he keeps trying to sleep, because it means he might get to feel the short-lived embrace of those sweet dreams that allow him to ruminate within the delicate, reassuring touch of Olruggio’s rough hands as he comforts him within the confines of his mind.

In the backyard of their atelier, there is an empty space not far from but not too close to the atelier itself, a spot just beside and yet left untouched by Qifrey's garden.
Or, there is a spot beloved to Qifrey right next to the atelier. Now, if only the competition would stop encroaching on it, wouldn't that be delightful?
