Dit is het verhaal van een vrouw genaamd Violet.
Het was Violet James' laatste werkdag vandaag. Ze werd ontslagen vanwege een paar domme suggesties voor een nieuw product. Gelukkig vond ze haar werk toch niet zo leuk.
Ze liep naar binnen, langs de lege receptie naar haar kantoorcel. Ze realiseerde zich pas dat ze niemand had gezien toen ze bij haar computer aankwam.

"Are you another teacher here?"
"Uh, yeah! I teach science for 6th and 8th grade. What about you?"
"Amaze, amaze. I teach in technology wing. Robotics."
"You new?"
"Yes. Just traveled here few days ago. Applied for job. Got job."
"Cool."
A strange new teacher is hired at Grover Cleveland Middle, and so far, Mr. Grace has heard more gossip than he's heard during his entire 7 years of teaching. He's friendly, but awkward and offputting to the point where people are starting to think he's not human.
An alternate universe where most of the cast are members of the school staff, and Rocky is the weird new teacher who most definitely isn't pretending to be a human to hide from the government officials at NASA trying to study him.

When the ship finally touches down, Grace steps off.
Which is strange, considering Grace had gone with them to greet the newcomers.

Summary
After Stanley successfully escapes the parable with the Narrator, he finds himself alone in the real world without his only friend. Half a decade passes and Stanley is now a lead editor and writer for a book focused news outlet when his workmate and friend, Tom, recommends him a book that leads him to reminisce of his time in the parable. Stanley, now with a new favorite book, gets the opportunity to interview its mysterious author, Nigel Salt, through a series of emails which soon leads the two to become pen pals and maybe even friends. Stanley only hopes his relationship with Nigel will fill the hole in his heart from losing the Narrator.
