Summary
Finding the things that bring his husband pleasure has been Luo Binghe’s lifelong pursuit. To narrow in on the snacks and flavors that he favors, to play the music he loves best, to give him water and shade when the heat bothers him. It is a challenge, because Shizun does not say ‘I want this, I like this.’ He hides himself, far too aloof and elegant to be so open about his likes. Luo Binghe must watch him closely, and latch onto the slightest hint of enjoyment or displeasure.
He has gotten very good at it over the years, which is how he knows that Shizun likes it when he and Liu Qingge fight over him. Not when they argue, but when they fight, close and messy, rolling over each other and grappling and snarling, biting. He’ll watch the two of them from behind his fan with bright, interested eyes, only making weak token attempts at getting them to stop. The more physical it gets, the better.

Summary
“Shizun,” Luo Binghe says, infusing power into his words; and Shen Qingqiu, powerless and undefended, bound by his technique, can only quietly receive them. “From now on… You can never raise a hand to this disciple again. You are completely forbidden from doing anything that would harm me.”
After living for so many years at the mercy of harsh and arbitrary punishments, this is the very first thing he can think to ask for. If Luo Binghe weren’t so full of years worth of resentment, this is perhaps where he would stop, content only with protecting himself. But he is resentful. He’s full of hatred and bitterness that he doesn’t know how to get rid off, and he wants… he wants to make Shen Qingqiu pay.
Just a little. He won’t kill or mutilate him. In the end, the man is his shizun. He has not done enough to deserve that much. But he has earned to be toyed with a little, hasn’t he?
“And you must obey every order I give you.”

They demand Yue Qingyuan administer a punishment fitting Shang Qinghua's crime- and so he does, in the form of allowing those who felt slighted by Shang Qinghua's actions to get their reparations through his body.

Occtis did not want to deal with Julien right now. He took a long breath and opened the door.
"Oh, good, you're still here," Julien said, and pushed past Occtis into the cabin. His dark hair was dusted with snow. "I was worried I'd have to pry open a window."
"Come on in," Occtis muttered, but Julien either didn't hear him or ignored him. He shut the door, and, more loudly, demanded, "What are you doing?"

“Sorry, babe,” Keith says. He even smiles, no doubt proud of himself.
And Lance knows it’s his fault. He started it, after all, but at least the biting term of endearment made sense when he was the one doing it. Keith had been talking to him like they were some old married couple. The kind who’ve been married too long and don’t love each other anymore and gripe over meaningless shit, only managing to piss each other off even further.
That’s why Lance called him dear. Because it made sense in the situation. It was a calculated insult. A strategic jab.
Keith, on the other hand, is weaponizing the term of endearment without any rhyme or reason, simply to get back at Lance.
Or: Keith and Lance have gotten into the habit of using pet names as condescending insults. They're not really terms of endearment.
