Summary
“You always pull this shit. Every time I’m unlucky enough to fly with you guys,” Lucas continued, turning his head again to fix Mike with a deadpan stare. “Do you remember the Paris layover? When you made me wait in the lobby for forty-five minutes because you were busy ‘reviewing the flight details’ with Will?”
“We were reviewing the flight details!”
“Oh, I’m sure you were reviewing something,” Lucas huffed, then muttered under his breath, “Like the roof of Will’s mouth.”
Or:
The one where Mike is a captain, Will is a flight attendant, and Lucas is the unfortunate first officer who gets to deal with them.

Summary
“Well, maybe you should drive next time, if you’re such an expert!” Mike whines, jabbing Will’s side with his index finger.
Will yelps and smacks Mike’s hand away. “As if you’d let me drive, or just lift a finger in general.”
“I let you do plenty of things!”
“That’s so kind of you. Thank you for letting me.” Will shakes his head, but he fails to hide the smile blooming on his face.
“Why, you are so very welcome, my liege.” Mike snickers, his nerves finally settling down now that they’re back to their usual squabbling. “I can be reasonable.”-or-
In exactly one week, Will Byers is leaving Hawkins for college.
Mike Wheeler is handling this development very normally.
Unfortunately, "very normally" apparently involves becoming physically incapable of spending more than five minutes away from Will at a time, aggressively avoiding any discussions of the future, and slowly failing to keep his hands to himself.
How long can he keep pretending everything's fine?Bookmarked by iwantmoretime

Summary
"My sorcerer," he whispers, reverent. "I knew it." He places his hands on either side of Will's face and kisses him.
It's nothing like the first time, desperate and pent-up from a lifetime of hiding from it. Or the second time, sweet and tender like it was could slip away at any moment. It's its own thing—Will's impossible magic hands in Mike's curls and Mike holding him tight by the waist with the relief of someone who's really, really glad he didn't die.
The world might be coming to an end, but there’s nothing Mike and Will’s love can’t survive.

Summary
"Since when do you listen to The Cure by choice? Be honest, do you secretly like this?" Will asked, quirking a brow.
"You like it," Mike grinned. "Thought it might be nice to listen to some of your sinister shit."
Will scoffed, "It's not sinister, Mike."
"Okay, creepy, then"
"It's not creepy either, small-town boy. It's deeper than that. You can't just take it at face value."
"Small-town boy?!" He squealed. "You're using Bronski against me now?"
"Maybe," Will laughed, shaking his head. "Some songs have deeper meanings. You just have to actually listen."
OR
An exploration into the tortured mind of college-bound Mike Wheeler and his journey to self discovery and acceptance. A love song punctuated by grief, shame, painfully nerdy D&D references, and uncanny song-lyrics.
