Summary
Shouta listened to Hizashi, and despite the many, many, many people in his life to have told him to shut up — his husband had never been one of them. And while of course he had his bad days where he found himself unsure if he'd even be able to open his mouth let alone keep up the happy-go-lucky attitude he normally exhibited. He also had Shouta at his side with his open hands and gentle demeanor that never failed to reassure Hizashi that he was loved and so was his voice.
So maybe that was why it was so surprising when Shouta finally did say the words he'd never expected from him.
(Or, Hizashi does not handle being told to shut up well.)

Summary
Yamada never experienced those bittersweet moments life threw at everyone since his days came and went without a warning, always moving too fast for him to ever get a chance to rest. When he meets Aizawa, however, his world slows to a pace that allowed those moments, especially towards the end of his life where he was grateful for the slow-mo, while Aizawa wanted nothing but it to become slow again since his world was going away far too quickly for him to catch up.
