This is a collection of messages I wrote and never sent.
Congratulations to my self-control, I guess.Some were typed at unreasonable hours. Some were rewritten until they almost stopped hurting. None of them survived the dramatic act of pressing “send.” Emotional bravery apparently comes with a permanent buffering symbol.
These messages, letters, and poems come from my own personal experiences. Writing has been my way of letting things out without setting anything on fire. So I’m leaving them here — floating in the air. Whether anyone reads them or not… I’m not entirely sure why I felt like sharing them. It just felt right (or impulsive enough) to do so.
Original language: Spanish. If something sounds off, blame the translation. Or me. Preferably the translation.

He'd get bored if it weren't for the newest case to land in his lap: a slain patriarch, a fallen starlet, and their prodigal son, all woven together in an ever-growing web of Hollywood scandal, intrigue, and blackmail. It would be a welcome distraction if that prodigal son weren't so nice to look at.
At least, this is how the actor who plays him in the Roger Sheridan Mystery Hour reads the whole situation. During one recording session, his projected fantasy of the detective takes on a life of its own.
