Jinx grasped his broad shoulders in her hands. “Listen to me!” She hissed and he swallowed, eyes wide open. She knew she must've looked deranged, her eyes were effortlessly analyzing every inch of his face. Her grip on his shoulder tightened, like holding onto him would ground her spiraling free thoughts. “I need you to pretend you're my boyfriend. Just for tonight,” Somehow, his eyes kept getting wider and wider. His gaze softened to complete disbelief.
“Is this a joke?”

Jinx is being bothered nonstop by a guy during a party. Men don't usually listen to women, but they do listen to men, so Jinx finds herself asking the only other familiar face around a favour. Ekko enters a fake relationship with Jinx to avoid sticky situations. It was supposed to last only one night, but things get out of control and leads up to unexpected real sparks between them.

Katsuki hit the ground heels first as he skidded through damp dirt, mouth dropping open as he heard panicked yelling a distance behind him. “A FUCKING DRAGON??” He bellowed in disbelief, wondering how the fuck he was supposed to take down something basically the size of the entire main school building without trashing the place, but the thing stopped roaring and thrashing at the sound of his voice.

“I love this band!” Kirishima yelled, not really talking to anyone in particular, but his hand was still gripping at the guy's shirt, his weight still pushing at his side more than necessary, and the guy obviously took it as a hint he was being directly addressed.
Kirishima couldn't say he minded all that much, in hindsight.
“Yeah?” the guy shouted back, smirk somehow turning even sharper, even more magnetic - he twisted so that his fingers could curl around the wrist of the hand Kirishima still had planted on him, closing sweaty and warm on his overheated skin, and then started pulling him along, pushing people aside and wading through the crowd with surprising ease.
“Then let's fucking get closer!”

He can still feel Kirishima’s gaze on him when he finishes eating, so he shoots him a sideways glare and says, “Stop being fucking coy.”
“Huh?” Kirishima asks, blinking and looking away like that’d convince Bakugou he hadn’t just been staring.
“Man up,” Bakugou hisses at him. “If there’s something you want, then fucking say it.”
Kirishima goes quiet, again, and Bakugou can practically hear the gears turning in his head. If he keeps this up, he’s going to burn out whatever brain he still has. Just as Bakugou’s about to scoff and tell him so, Kirishima leans in so that their faces are too close together.
“What,” Bakugou says, every one of his muscles locking up as he fights conflicting urges to lean closer and edge away from Kirishima’s proximity.
“You stopped me, last time,” Kirishima tells him, lips curled into a pout. “Are you going to let me say it, now?”
Kirishima has always made things easy for Bakugou. But that doesn't mean that Bakugou's gotten any better at these things, even after all of these years.

“Of course not. We, his people, are asking you to date him. He’s going to have to get on board, if he wants his career to survive. And in the bargain, Riot will get all sorts of publicity, because their lyricist will be dating one of the industry’s hottest stars. A win for everyone.”
When Kirishima Eijirou's band hits the big time, he's not prepared for his newfound fame. He's even less prepared to meet the actor he's been crushing on for years, or to start dating him as a publicity stunt. The closer Kirishima gets to Bakugou Katsuki, the more he realizes he's in over his head. But it's hard to stop, once his heart is in it.

When it came to falling in love with his best friend, Kirishima probably could've done with two pieces of advice: Be nice until it's time to not be nice. And you can't be everything you want to be before your time. But wisdom often comes when it can no longer do any good, so it's Bakugo who winds up beating him to the punch.
(Kirishima is hit with a classic case of 'when you know, you know' but admitting it is a different story.)
