Summary
Erik and Charles both knew that their paths would eventually lead them to meet each other again, but neither could have ever imagined that it would happen quite like this: with the loss of family and at opposite sides at the end of the world. Once here, however, the question is where they will go from now on, and whether they will go there together.
This fic is written as a sequel to "The road to redemption", and follows the events of "X-Men: Apocalypse", told from both Charles' and Erik's points of views.
