He’s stretching the morning out beyond reasonable excuse, but still he feels no urgency about rising. It’s so very warm in his futon, and with his eyes closed, he can drift in a space that’s pleasantly restful while still enjoying the entertainment unknowingly provided for him.

What scares Haruka the most though, it’s the people closest to him, his vice captains’ reaction. Suo and Nirei look at him a certain way sometimes, like they know.
They poke and prod at him, make him lose his cool and his balance until he feels like an open wound. And it should be a bad thing, and there’s definitely a meanness to it, a bit of selfishness too.
It should be a bad thing, but they are so kind about it.
