Summary
Henry didn’t stop Alex from leaving the Kensington Palace that night. They haven’t spoken since then but the e-mails exchanged between them still get leaked. Henry decides to be brave but Alex doesn’t want to talk to him anymore because he thinks it’s his fault that the emails are out.

“Bleeding.” Claire brings her chubby little hand up to point at his forehead.
Henry touches his cold fingers to his forehead, realizing the bandage he’d placed over his eyebrow has been bled through. He thinks he’s got more in the center console. He hopes.
“Daddy’s alright,” he assures her, finally snapping the buckle together over her puffy pink coat. He gives her the best smile he can muster. “Ready to go for a drive?”
Claire nods at him, big blue eyes inquisitive as he palms her hair, thumb brushing blonde locks off her forehead. “Where’s we goin’?”
