Summary
Almost a month after Rody Lamoree burnt down La Gueule de Saturne, he is still haunted by both Manon and Vincent’s death. He mourns the loss of both despite their merciless appearances in his persistent nightmares, and blames both of them for his hitting complete rock-bottom.
Vincent Charbonneau lost everything in the fire—his restaurant, his apartment, his recipes. But the one thing he did not lose was his life. After miraculously surviving the fire, he is taken in by a good friend from university and decides to lay low to escape the media and spare the details of his near demise.
But it's a small world when you have nowhere to go. Even smaller still when the past is much faster than you are. So when Vincent and Rody meet again at their lowest, both have to choose whether to grasp at loose ends to stay afloat or cling to each other in the aftermath.
