He's focusing on the mark on the ceiling because if he looks anywhere else, if he looks at Charles, the dam would burst and then all of the emotions would spill out, and Charles would leave because everyone leaves, they always leave, and it was better when he was reckless, impulsive, aggressive, angry; because he could pretend he didn't care about who he was hurting, and oh God, Charles is going to leave him and he's going to be all alone and life isn't worth living if he doesn't have Charles by his side, and--

With Jamie still freshly hurting from his injury and having a habit of his pain meds, Trevor comes home to the lights turned off and Jamie asleep on the couch more often than not.
