Eren is a successful medical student, grappling with the way his relationship with Mikasa ended. Denial and angst have left his heart ridden and torn with regret, yearning for the times when his lost love was still in an arm's reach. After a long day, one night, Mikasa reaches out to her ex. A classic tale of the devil ripping open an old wound that was one stitch and suture shy of being fully repaired, it goes about as well as anyone who has been in a similar situation could ever hope to expect.
But if sweat and sweet ecstasy don't pave the bridge from the edge of recovery to the altar of being shattered once again, I don't know what does.
