Summary
“Why would I want pictures of half-naked random men hanging on my wall?” Donghyuck groans, exasperated.
“Because they’re hot and we both like hot guys? Even though you haven’t gone out on a date with any in ages,” Jaemin deadpans, speaking as if he couldn’t be anything else but right, “It’s original decoration! Gay culture at its peak!”
“I don’t think shirtless firefighters can be considered gay culture at all, Jaemin.”
Jaemin convinces Donghyuck to buy a sexy firemen calendar to contribute to the local fire brigade's annual fundraising. Chaos ensues.

Summary
Movies will tell you the world slows down, theory backed up by romantic tension in books making it all go quiet.
But Donghyuck is flesh and blood, and he’ll let you know how it actually goes: brightness turned all the way up, ambient noise booming through life’s speakers, everything going at double speed while he stands in a dim, spotlight-less corner listening to Mark tell him, “I don’t think we are, like, on the same page? We’re here to work, you know? It’s just work.”
Don’t worry. Romcoms didn’t warn him about that one either.
(or, Mark knows Donghyuck likes him, Donghyuck knows he likes him back, Mark turns him down—you do the math)

Summary
"It’s my knee. Hurts like a bitch."
Mark's hand slides down his thigh, rubs over his knee cap, and then gives it a light squeeze.
Donghyuck blinks. Oh. Right.
"Ow," he says a second too late, pained sound unconvincing to it’s last wave.
Mark breathes out against the pillow in a dozy version of a sigh, disappointment curling into Donghyuck along with Mark's fingers now going around the back of his knee, leg being hiked higher up Mark’s hip with a tug.
"You gonna talk to me? Or can I go back to sleep?"

Summary
It's a second-hand patchwork style couch, it's on sale, and, most importantly, it looks hideous. That's all Donghyuck cares about before pressing Add to Cart.
(or, Donghyuck gets a couch too big to fit through his bedroom door, and it's all somehow Mark's fault.)

Summary
What seems to do the trick most times is closing his eyes and counting down from seven, a combination of all his favorite things: it's his lucky number, he gets to press pause on reason and logic, and when he opens them he’s always welcomed with Donghyuck’s face.
Three, two, one, eyes open, and—there’s silk pajamas, crossed arms leaning into the rolled down window of his car and disinterest coming off every pore of a face that isn't Donghyuck’s, one that greets him with, "He told me to tell you he's not getting in a car with you."
What’s always minus one?(or, Donghyuck is Mark’s plus one to his sister’s wedding, and it all seems to be going as planned until it doesn't.)
