"Bruce?" There's no reason, except for all of the obvious ones, that Dick's warm and familiar voice should feel like a weight on his shoulders. "Jesus, it's dark in here," he continues, coming around the desk to flick on a light. "You know, you aren't actually a nocturnal creature, you can turn on a table lamp once in a while. Unless you've got a migraine or something?"
"My head is fine," Bruce says, stiffly. "We've had a visitor."

He's perched on the edge of the Breyfogle building, kicking his legs and enjoying the warm breeze that blows up from the new HVAC system on the roof, when he feels an odd sort of weight on him. But when he turns around there's no one there but Bruce, and the flat white gaze of the cowl's lenses.
Dick tugs at the hem of his leotard, suddenly a little self-conscious. He must have looked childish.

Summary
Dick hasn't spoken to Bruce for eleven months, so it's particularly unfortunate that the first time he sees his former mentor in nearly a year is while pulling a five-inch needle dosed with aphrodisiac out of the meat of his thigh. He should have known better than to think he could get away with investigating anything in Gotham. And he definitely shouldn't have put off upgrading the material of his suit.

Dick is too weak to thrash, but his thigh twitches as the needle slides cleanly into the vastus lateralis. Within a few minutes he's lolling back against the pillows. "Br'ce?" he asks again.
"No," Bruce says. He strokes Dick's hair back from his forehead, watches it fall black and curling back down over the blindfold. "Just me. I'm here to help you."
