Макс целует его грубо, жадно и голодно. Макс давит, заставляя еще больше приоткрыть губы. Макс абсолютно бесцеремонно лезет языком в рот.
Мысль о том, что Макс, видимо, вообще ничего в этой жизни не делает вполсилы, формируется у Джорджа в уме раньше, чем приходит полноценное осознание, что они вообще, черт подери, делают.
Осознания, насколько же все это неправильно, Джордж решает не дожидаться.

Max waves him off without taking his eyes off the ice.
“I think the figure skaters won’t mind if we run a little late.”
“Oh, we very much will,” a voice says behind him.
After an injury put an end to his career, Max returns to the academy he once called home – no longer as a player, but as the coach of a junior ice hockey team.
It took George years to stop thinking about how everything could have turned out differently. Until Max is standing on the other side of the rink again.
