Summary
Dan (Dana) is a legally grey but morally righteous A&E and Urgent Care registrar at an NHS hospital in central London, returning from a sabbatical that was supposed to make her a better person. Phil (Philine) is a patient, and even though she’s bruised and impoverished and aching all the time, she’s flirty, and she keeps asking Dan out. What’s a girl supposed to do but say yes?
“Is the appointment over?” Phil asks.
Dan swallows. “I suppose.”
“So you’re not my doctor anymore.”
“I suppose not.” Dan averts her eyes.
Phil sees a patch of skin on her jaw flush red, and has a filthy thought, about how pretty she’d look with her cheeks glowing a warm red, the curls that touch her forehead damp and sticking to her skin.

Dan and Phil are not together, and Dan’s closet is starting to turn into a sarcophagus. She struggles with guilt, shame, and her devastating romantic feelings for her friend. She’s got some filthy habits, too.
Phil’s closet is… fine. It’s there because it’s what Dan needs right now, and that’s fine, because she doesn’t have a lot of feelings. Phil’s definitely, definitely dealing with everything just fine. Including her not-relationship with Ella, which she's totally not just using as a crutch so she doesn't have to deal with her feelings for Dan. Feelings she doesn't have, because she's fine.
After they backstage-present the Brit awards for the first time, they make a huge mistake that they’ll never have to think about again.... Right?

He gets assigned a prison guard named Dan, a cold and indifferent Nefarian who is prideful of his planet and always does as he’s told. Phil takes everything that comes to him without complaint, not knowing that his actions are slowly cracking down Dan’s hard exterior.

When Phil asks him for a favour, Dan agrees without hesitating, unaware of how much a taste of his dream life would affect him.
A December-y story of Dan growing in his love for Phil, and Phil discovering his love which has always been there.
