“‘m not!” Luca spat out, glowering at Young, causing the two other men to share a look with each other.
“Ok, let’s get you home.” Shane stepped closer towards him.
“No! ‘m fine! No need! Big boy!” His lips were quivering and he could feel his eyes turning blurry again. His head felt fuzzy as he took a step back away from Shane’s reaching arm.
“C’mon, buddy, let’s go.” Shane did not let him get away, gently wrapping his hands around Luca’s arms and pulling him in. Luca started to sob as he shook his head. He does not need help. He does not want to be an inconvenience. He can do it himself.
