It was at that moment that Ricky saw them. Two almost-white eyes looking at him from under the water. Ricky froze and started walking back as the siren started emerging from the water. His clear, maybe bluish skin turned a little colder pink hue. As he blinked slowly, his eyes exposed their brown color, and his nose popped up a bit and became more human-looking. His pretty long hair framed his petrified face. As if he knew the pool by heart, he put his webbed, blue hands on the rocks behind him so he could get out of the water and sit on the black stone. His body slowly lost the blueish tone except where his gills were when he was in the water, right over his deep collarbone. For no second did the siren take his eyes away from the figure in front of him. Ricky couldn't move.
(Zhang Hao is the only person Ricky can talk to. Hanbin helped Gunwook grow up and survive. When they disappear, Ricky and Gunwook can only trust each other, and team up despite being strangers to find their family again. On a remote island, Zhang Hao and Hanbin are planning something, trying to hide how much they want each other.)

But at least there was one good thing about this place, Park Gunwook. One of the most genuine friends he had ever had. And probably also one of the most handsome.
