Summary
Chuuya hesitated, then slowly lowered himself, distributing his weight cautiously, like he was afraid of crushing Dazai by accident.
The pressure hit all at once. Dazai made a soft, startled sound he couldn’t stop, and his hands curled reflexively into Chuuya’s shirt.
“Oh,” he breathed, eyes squeezing shut. “Um—that’s—”
Chuuya tensed immediately. “Too much?”
“No,” Dazai said quickly, voice trembling. “Please don’t move.”
There is no memory of being held. There is only the present: a couch, too much quiet, and Chuuya trying, clumsily, not to make things worse. Dazai discovers the absence inside him has edges. Chuuya discovers he can’t ignore it.
or: touch, for dazai, has always meant violence, restraint, or pain. this is about the other kind—and the hollow it leaves behind once he notices it exists.

“Personal Aide to His Majesty. Competitive salary. Benefits. Housing provided.”
It’s ridiculous. Laughably ridiculous.
Except… it’s on an official site. There’s an application form. And a blurb about how His Majesty’s looking for “fresh candidates who can handle high-pressure environments and discreet, confidential tasks.”
High pressure sounds like code for I’ll make your life hell. Still…
Housing provided. Salary enough to pay off his debt and still have enough left over to buy something that isn’t noodles.
Dazai clicks the “Apply” button.
Then hits “submit.”
The return email comes in so fast it’s suspicious.
He’s barely clicked the button when his laptop pings—new message.Maybe it’s a “thanks but no thanks.” Maybe it’s a scam. Maybe it’s just one of those auto-replies which is corporate code for we’ll delete this in the morning.
He clicks the email.
Watches the loading wheel spin.Finally, the screen blinks.
“Congratulations. Your application has been accepted. Interview scheduled for 9:00 AM tomorrow at the palace.”He bursts out laughing.

Summary
Dazai Osamu was sent on a solo mission to investigate a clue on the whereabouts of the Decay of Angels. Well, more like he gave himself a solo mission. He knew only he could stand up to Fyodor, and Fyodor was who he would be meeting on this investigation. But Fyodor had a trick up his sleeve. A mysterious artifact that could send one into a dreamstate, a coma, that had only one cure. And Dazai happened to be the victim of its powers. Dazai was now deemed as missing once the Armed Detective Agency noticed his disappearance. At first, they assumed the worst had happened... But Ranpo quickly disproved the idea and figured out the cure to the coma: Teaming up with the Port Mafia.
And whilst the two organizations reluctantly worked together to find and save Dazai, the man himself had his own challenge to face. The dreamstate he was in required him to go through his own memories, reliving past trauma's and making amends with those he was close to, and with himself.
TLDR: Dazai gets tricked by a rat and is put into a fruity and angsty coma where he has to deal with himself and the ADA and PM team up to help find and get Dazai out of his coma.
