The kind to worry about Curly from the very start when everybody else couldn't give less of a fuck, the kind to give Olson one of his rations tubes without giving a second thought to it, the kind to sign up because he thought following after his dad was the right thing to do. The kind to think that Pete's life was worth saving, so, why wouldn't Pete want to do the same.
