He’d thought… he’d thought something different was happening, was all. With the lights of the club, and the pulsing music. Scott had been kind, had bought him a drink, had wanted him, and Pyro thought...
Well, it was even better than what he’d thought was happening. He'd thought that this attractive man with so much power in his grip might want to use Pyro in some kind of way, take pleasure in him, maybe not hurt him when he did.
Pyro was used to being cornered, he'd thought maybe… maybe he'd follow. Maybe it would be nice, although his stomach had hurt and the drink he'd been sipping on sloshed uneasily in his stomach, when Scott led him to a private room by the hand.
It ended up being even better than that. He'd wanted to keep Pyro. He had clawed Pyro into himself and kept him there, had grabbed him and stolen him, and not apologized or regretted it. It had hurt, but that's what happened when you got what you wanted. You had to pay for it.

Summary
Legundo held him fast although he writhed, looking down through those dark lenses. Owen could not see his own reflection in them— vampires did not have reflections. But he saw the red moon, and the black forest, and it looked like eyes.
"I find you very fascinating Owen. As I said, I've traveled very far and seen many things, but you're a bit of an oddity. Goldsmith, now there's a dime a dozen. If I had an obol for every noble vampire with a penchant for massacre, why, I'd be a very rich man."
Legundo sounded conversational. The bastard was as strong as a granite cliff side— Owen yanked as hard as he could and although Legundo's mouth pursed with effort, there was no breaking loose. Owen was smaller, and weak from hunger besides.
"I had hoped to study your sire, Louis," and Owen had to acknowledge the fear now, ice cold in his stomach where the hunger nested with it. "But it seems he is no longer with us. You have my condolences, of course—"
"Shut your fucking mouth," Owen snarled, and then screamed in fury when Legundo sighed, and started pressing Owen down to the ground.

In the aftermath of Oakhurst, Abolish returns to work, but finds himself joined by two very familiar faces. "Done with those lunatics," he definitely was not. Still, he's got a job to do, and he's going to stick at it, even with two divorced-situationship/whatever-the-hell vampires flanking him. Abolish can be professional about the whole thing. His two new coworkers, however...
AU in which Owen and Legs both survive VSMP and join Abolish in the shadow organisation. Neither are coping with working with the other in a remotely normal fashion.

Summary
Owen isn't an idiot. He knows that if Scott finds out he's basically a newborn in vampire terms, he's going to take the easy meal and kill him. So, he lied-said he had been alive 200 years instead of in a state of unconciousness for 200 years. Hopefully Scott buys it.
Scott knows Owen is full of bullshit. No Sire would let a fledgling that young out of their sight at 200 years old, let alone out here. He thinks he's roughly 300, and is lying to make himself look like less of a threat.
Scott and Owen have a truce-they both stay out of each other's business and don't kill any humans. But for some reason, Owen is so, so hungry. And animal blood isn't cutting it.
Scott, on the other hand, is a little concerned at how bad at vampirism Owen is.

"My, you have been busy," Scott said, and Legundo did not look at Scott's eyes— shut them in fact, when Scott grabbed his chin and forced his face forward. He could smell that cold breath now, like a funeral parlor, and pulled away with a grimace, hand moving to his belt—
Scott snatched that up as well, and with a twist and a surge of inhuman strength, pressed Legundo flat to the table. His breath left him in a rush, and Scott laughed.
Scott was shorter than Legundo, and much lighter as well. The only thing keeping him planted on the ground was his own body weight, and Legundo had the advantage of leverage.
He still had a hand free. Legundo grabbed on to the collar of Scott's elegant coat, and put a knee into the vampire's stomach. He had the satisfaction of seeing surprise in Scott's eyes— before he was handily thrown clean off of Legundo, and over the far side of the table.
He would not get the element of surprise again.
(Or; Legundo gets bit by EVERY Vampire at some point or another, for varying reasons.)
