Summary
The starts twinkle bright and the night is still in the sleeping streets of Velaris, until Azriel stirs awake in sudden alarm. Somebody has breached the boarder of the beautiful city.
Covered in blood and bruises, a young woman, breathless and weary, races through the snow. Nothing more on her person than a stollen dagger, and a bag of small bones.
He, as well as the rest of the group discover, upon her lack of memory, they must retrieve the remaining bits beyond the veil that had been glamoured them from her. During this journey with this strange woman; bitter honesty, guilt, desire and need is demanded out of each and every single member of the inner circle. And who knows - maybe even a moment of peace.

AUTHORS NOTE: This is a one-shot reimagining of chapter 26 of A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. Dialogue leading up to the smut is pulled directly from the book, and is canon-compliant. All I did was add gratuitous smut, y’all. For no reason, other than that I am a heathen.

“Get your filthy hands off of her,” Tamlin snarled—but still, he did not make a move.
Rhysand smirked, and his breath washed over my too-hot skin as he purred, “I’m not so sure that's what your fair maiden wants.” He raised one dark eyebrow in a sinfully elegant gesture, and something inside of me clenched. “Is it, my little Spring flower?”
I said nothing in return, frozen between fear and anticipation. Surely Tamlin wouldn’t allow him to take it this far…?
“Anything else, Rhys, please—”
“I think you’d be surprised at your little flower’s fantasies, dear Tamlin,” Rhysand continued conversationally, my chin still held in his fingers. His smile grew. “I think your emissary might be surprised as well.” He leaned closer to me, inhaling deeply, and his eyes fluttered for a moment. “I’m not sure what excites her more—the idea of both of you taking her at once, or the idea of the two of you taking each other.”Bookmarked by p8n

He had missed a very important consonant in my name and had chosen to replace it with another. “Oh Elain, don’t stop,” he moaned. I shuddered, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
