Cody has a scar now, and it’s the only thing that differentiates him from Fox appearance-wise. For one, they both have the same circles under their eyes. Fox assumes that’s what comes with being a Commander. Their hands are the same, too, damaged and bruised at all times.
But the biggest difference Fox sees when he looks at Cody isn’t the scar. It’s the rage. Cody doesn’t wear that same rage.
Fox’s hands ache with the need to punch something.

Suffice it to say, Hank learns VERY QUICKLY that he messed with the wrong mentor figure.
Or: A fix-it interlude for "Nightmares," wherein we get to see Hank get what's coming to him after he emotionally eviscerates his daughter, and where Giles and Buffy get to share a moment afterward, before the worst of the nightmares begin.

Summary
They didn't make it out of Irkngthand as scot-free as they thought. Brynjolf was ready to accept his death as a result of an injury he refused to mention to the other Nightingales before they went their separate ways. His reunion with Nocturnal is postponed by Anaya, who in saving his life, reluctantly reveals to him she's trained at the College of Winterhold. However playing that close to death sparks a need in both of them they're no longer willing to ignore.
As Brynjolf spends time with his fellow Nightingale and Guild mate, he realizes there is more to her than any of them ever fathomed.
This is porn with plot! Mostly my need for more Brynjolf smut than currently exists. Sometimes it's more plot and sometimes more porn, but either way, every chapter should have something for everyone.
