"Hecate, what's the matter? You're acting very strange." Pippa's brows are drawn together in concern.
"I believe I've accidentally inhaled some of the exi veritas during the very last of the brewing process," Hecate admits slowly. "I should- I should go before I say anything I regret."
"What could you possibly-" The rest of Pippa's question is cut off when Hecate abruptly ends the call.
There are approximately two brief, blissful seconds of silence before Hecate begins to cry.
