Kon must have heard the bullet the second before Tim saw the flash of the muzzle in the dark, because he swerved just in time for it to miss.
Except...it hadn’t actually missed. Tim looked up in shock and lifted a hand to brush Kon’s cheek. It came away bloody. Just a graze, a small slice in Kon’s skin, but—
“There is blood coming out of your body,” Tim muttered, still staring at the streak of Kryptonian blood on his palm. “It’s not supposed to do that.”
