Fic based on the "We Can Fix Pawbert Universe". Decided that, such a loving pack could get more fluffy and angsty. So I'm throwing in a cub they can adopt. Complete with a 5th Incident to add to the Pack's CV's.
Say hello to the 13 year old Lynx kit, Nekos. Life has been a roller coaster the past month, with disaster and recovery and getting adopted. But all good things must come to an end. He’s survived being scratched, kit-napped (twice!), starved, shot, beaten up, aggressively hugged, smothered in affection by three sets of grandparents, survived over a dozen rabbit kits coercing him into playing something called ‘hide and seek’ and even MORE affection by everyone. He feels like he’s ready for anything now!
Even for his biggest challenge ever.
Public Middle School.
He’s ready for this. He’s watched a movie with the pack and read some books to understand and research how school works, so he feels pretty ready.
He isn’t looking forward to the song and dance routines that were in the movies, but he’s willing to try! (No one correct him on that assumption).

What happened after the pack returned from their visit to Bunnyburrow? Nekos' Nana and Pop from the Pawthorne side, and Grandma and Grandpa from the Wilde-Hopps side were a glimpse at an expanded family, and Vivian Wilde will be visiting on Tuesday, but it doesn’t stop there. There are dozens of mammals that the Pack have forgotten to inform and they are all now aware, due to Maris’s picture evidence AND the kit replying to the picture. So now we see the reactions of a small handful of them. Almost as if this was carefully planned to not overwhelm the kit.
Let's take a look at these events from the point of view of Nekos L. Pawthorne.

Summary

Summary
The smell of smoke still lingered in the air when Judy stepped onto the bustling crime scene. Quick paws took careful steps to avoid the pieces of shattered glass and rubble that were lying about. What was once a quaint little home now lay in ruin after being set on fire by a group of unknown arsonists.
Or, Nick and Judy grow closer to an unexpected figure in attempts to put a stop to a string of targeted crimes.
