He was already acting strange earlier when they were eating popsicles. He insisted on tasting the one in Euijoo's mouth, snatched it away, and then licked his prize triumphantly right in front of Euijoo, a sly smirk on his face.
Euijoo couldn't take it anymore. He was the first to move, pulling back from the scorching distance between them, using the excuse of checking the air conditioner vent to escape to the other corner of the room.

Yet whenever the tension in his abdomen built up like heat and pressure gathering before a volcanic eruption, his mind would involuntarily conjure Euijoo’s face—that look of feigned innocence, that smile he wore when greeting him—it was truly nauseating.

“I said it’s fine, I just need you to agree to two things,” Nicholas said.
“Okay…what are they?” Euijoo asked, hesitantly.
“Number one is, that you can’t tell anybody about the fight club,” Nicholas began, holding up his pointer finger, “Fuma and I don’t want the younger ones to find out about it. It’s also, you know, illegal, so it would make things a whole lot easier if it’s kept between us.”
Euijoo looked around, “Are we in that Fight Club movie right now?” He asked, as a small smirk grew on his face.
Nicholas rolled his eyes and groaned, “Yeah, whatever, shut up.”
“But okay, I won’t tell anyone,” He agreed, “What's the other thing?”
“Number two is…” Nicholas began again, holding up two fingers this time, “don’t get attached.”
“Okay…And what is that supposed to mean?”
“This,” Nicholas said, flicking a finger between the two of them, “is just a temporary arrangement.” -

Euijoo rolls his eyes, letting himself be tugged by Nicholas’ anxious hands out into the hallway. “Can't even control yourself on Taki's birthday.” Euijoo snides as he's yanked into the nearest closet.
