the first time, atsumu gave him a lazy two-finger wave on the way out the door and said "same time next tournament, Omi-kun?" easy. simple. a good fuck who didn't give a shit whether kiyoomi stayed or left, which was exactly what kiyoomi needed him to be. turns out atsumu is a better actor than kiyoomi gave him credit for.

“Omi-kun?” Atsumu said softly, contrasting his typical impulsive and striking tone. Kiyoomi’s head snapped up, but he didn’t say a word, so Atsumu continued, “Ya can go. Ya don’t hafta stay here. I’m fine.” His last few words were choked out, and Kiyoomi could see the tears welling in Atsumu’s eyes once more.
“You’re such a sore loser, and you hate to admit that you need help every once in a while. I may hate your guts, but I’m not leaving you alone.” Kiyoomi replied flatly, turning his back to Atsumu. He refused to see any more tears shed from his teammate. He refused to feel any more pity for Atsumu Miya.
Suddenly, there was a light tug on the hem of Kiyoomi’s sweater. “Don’t leave.”

After losing a match, Atsumu Miya struggles with controlling his tears in the changeroom. After everyone else has left, Kiyoomi Sakusa is the only one left to comfort him; however, he's never been great at that. Doing the best he can, Kiyoomi walks Atsumu home in the dark.

“Snooping, Mike?” Will let out as he stocked the fridge full of his vitamin waters and other healthy necessities. Mike never remembered him caring about his body, but he knows he sure did.
“Oh, no… I-“ Mike uttered, “I was just fixing it. Falling, uh… it was falling.”
A laugh snuck behind Will’s throat, eventually escaping. The sun from the window above the sink cuddled closely with his Brunette hair and gracefully made its way to Mike’s cold eyes.
Will was the sun, so much that Helios would go as far as to envy a mortal.
“Yeah, Mike, I’m sure.” Will walked over to where Mike was kneeling, standing over him. It wasn’t intimidating… no, it was calming.
The curtains from the kitchen window flapped against the white stone around it. For a second, they sat there. Mike desperately wanted to lock his eyes onto one singular part of Will, but he couldn’t. Every inch of him was radiating in a way he had never seen before. At that moment, he wasn’t real. Nothing was real.
