"GOD Katsuki! You're acting just like your mother!" Izuku screamed as he stomped out the room.
Katsuki halted, sliding down to the floor. He stared at the wall, unable to say anything. He'd worked most of his life to never be like his mother. She was abusive and treated his father like shit. A single tear fell down his face as he heard Izuku storm out and slam the door shut.
He sat there for what felt like hours. As soon as Izuku had left, Katsuki started sobbing. He thought of everything all at once, until he landed on the best sounding option.
Now it was probably impulsive and went against everything that Katsuki had worked to change, but fuck it.
Katsuki had grabbed a bag and started packing up his shit to throw Izuku off of what he was about to do.
He was going to take his own advice from all those years ago.

Summary
Keith returns to Voltron after finding his mother and spending two months in the Quantum Abyss with her, except, he doesn't receive the warm welcome he was expecting. He comes to find out that while he and Krolia were on an eight-week mission, time outside of the Abyss had been passing faster for everyone else. The Voltron team has long since assumed that Keith had died, and Keith now faces their differences due to events that he wasn't even around to witness. He now has two years of existence to catch up on, and one unexpected Paladin seems to have changed drastically compared to the others.
Keith decides that he will stop at nothing to rejoin his team and get to the bottom of what happened while he was gone.

Izuku felt sweat bead on his neck, all rational thought being clouded over by the weed in his system. He prayed his eyes didn’t look as bloodshot as they had to have been. Steeling himself, he prepared to respond.

“Getting high.” He blurted out, matter of factly.
