Summary
She dreams of greenery — of a forest, the scent of outside that no cleaning spray can quite match. The artificialness of the spray's scent is just off enough to tickle her nose in the wrong way. But that's an awake thought, a minor inconvenience of real life that has no place inside the respite of dreams. The forest of her sleeping imagination is alive with flowers, their buds poking up out of the ground, petals falling open in a colorful array.

Summary
"Surprised you didn't just take me in the hallway," Una says once they're inside La'an's room. She's dropped the sweetness, and her arms are starting to twist beneath La'an's hand. There's likely another fight in their future, unless La'an can stop the skirmish before it starts.
Shoving Una forward, La'an takes advantage of Una being momentarily off-balance to take Una's legs out from under her. Una manages to avoid landing on the floor, although she doesn't get far before La'an is on her, pushing her down until they're both horizontal. Stripping Una is secondary to getting her restrained, and La'an's got no qualms about ruining Una's clothes in the process.

“Should call you the Ottawa Puppies,” says the Toronto centre, Svensson. As an insult it makes no sense, so Ilya ignores it, until he continues, “Hear Hollander keeps you on a short leash.”
Ilya is the captain, so if anything, he should be holding the leash. In English, you can be singular or plural, but he knows what Svensson is trying to say. He is saying Ilya Rozanov, you are Hollander’s bitch.
“Only sometimes,” Ilya replies, grinning. He wins the face off.
OR: Ilya trains himself to be a very, very good guard dog for Shane.

Tim glances up at him, though the hand holding the knife against Arlo’s throat doesn’t falter. “You really want me to stop?” he drawls, and he sees the moment Raylan realizes what he’s asking—the brief widening of his eyes, the way his breath catches in his throat. It’d be nothing to push a little harder on the knife, to sever the artery on the side of Arlo’s neck, right where his pulse is thundering so delicately. Tim’s killed better men for worse reasons; he wouldn’t even lose sleep over adding Arlo fucking Givens to that tally.
