Summary
When Dumbledore decides to host the Triwizard Tournament for the first time since 1792, James Potter immediately jumps at the chance for glory and fame.
Marlene McKinnon, excited for a chance to meet people other than the snooty students at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and desperate for a chance to prove herself to her family after her brother outshines her every success with a larger one, practically leaps for joy when she hears about the Tournament.
Regulus Black misses his brother every school year. When it's announced that Durmstrang Institute will be traveling to Hogwarts for the year, Regulus is anxious to spend the year with his brother and meet the infamous 'marauders' his brother never shuts up about.
To muggles, 1975 is the year of ABBA, Pink Floyd, and Elton John. To wizards, 1975 is the year of James Potter, Marlene McKinnon, and Regulus Black.

His hand shakes but he doesn't lower the gun, holding the barrel to Remus' forehead. How did they get themselves into this situation? He wonders if this is how he will die, breaking his own heart, aiming even though he cannot pull the trigger.
