Summary
As it ends, so does it begin anew.
Fifteen years ago, the Second Impact radically altered the climate of Planet Earth. In the blink of an eye, three billion people perished, consumed in a sudden surge of natural disasters, as seas boiled and skies fell. The world, as it had been known up until that point, had ended--and for the new world that crawled, furtive and half-formed, out of its ashes, there was a need for a new testament, a gospel of the new age.
(This is not the first time this story has been told.)
Ikari Yui, the Third Child. Age fourteen, and fresh on the field to pay, once again, for the sins of her father. Once, Shinji defied Gendo in his grief, and rejected Instrumentality. Once, Shinji embraced Gendo in his defiance, and at last found common ground with the man who had played the most visible role in making his life Hell. Now, Yui stands opposed to Gendo once again, engulfed by the shadow of a legacy bleaker than she knows, held in the palm of her mother's hand.
And yet, salvation may be found under the unlikeliest and most counterintuitive of circumstances--can it not?

Universe Synopsis:
In a Westeros where Robert's Rebellion ended with Rhaegar Targaryen killing Robert Baratheon at the Trident and turning his armies against his mad father, House Targaryen endures—battered, restructured, ruling a realm reshaped by uneasy settlement. Summary
Imperial Year 1159: A freak accident causes a fire to break out in the infirmary of Garreg Mach. Among the casualties are the young wife of the captain of the Knights of Seiros and their newborn daughter. Shortly thereafter, an exhausted stranger arrives in the village of Remire with little more than the clothes on her back and the baby in her arms. She introduces herself as Sitri, and says that her daughter's name is Byleth.
Imperial Year 1180: Byleth contemplates an uncertain future in the midst of her rural surroundings. A husband, children, a household--nothing quite manages to soothe the aching silence within her. Night after night, she dreams of an ancient battle: but one night, she dreams differently.
And in the wake of that different dream arrives a fateful meeting: a wounded prince, a sanguine archer, and a breathtaking young woman with hair of ivory and eyes the colour of lilacs.
A cathedral crowned with silver spires, an academy to teach 'the fine and fashionable art of killing,' new friends and sordid foes from all across Fódlan, and a love that is perhaps not nearly so doomed as it seems...

Summary
For hundreds of years, the reign of Edelgard von Hresvelg as prince of Enbarr has gone more or less uncontested, the elder renowned by some and ridiculed by others for her even-handed methods. While others took the defection of Clan Lasombra from the ranks of the Sabbat as license to hunt down and persecute their ancient enemies, she strove instead to integrate their numbers into the ranks of her court--and yet, a recent and egregious breach of the Camarilla's most sacred rules and traditions causes questions over the wisdom of her leniency to rise.
But Edelgard has other problems to deal with. The wretched lust for life that is the curse of all Kindred, which has so long evaded her, now boils up beneath her skin, and flights of impulse she would have considered to be inexcusable have become almost commonplace.
The trigger of this metamorphosis? A newly-Embraced Kindred by the name of Byleth Eisner.
Who is this woman? What connection does she have to the strange behaviour of the Lasombra Primogen? And what manner of omen might she serve, if not as the herald of an oncoming Gehenna?

The morning after her and Byleth's wedding, Emperor Edelgard von Hresvelg wakes up in her old bedroom in Garreg Mach to discover that she has brown hair, only one Crest, ten happy and healthy brothers and sisters, and a bad habit of sleeping through her professor's lectures. Hubert is unusually cheerful, Byleth teaches the Blue Lions, and nobody has heard of the Flame Emperor. Instead, a figure known as the Hurricane King and his sinister cohort the Death Knight stalk the monastery.
No sooner has Edelgard sought out this new world's Byleth than she finds herself standing in the eye of a storm of continent-spanning conspiracies centered on a young man with snow-white hair — one that will engulf Garreg Mach, the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, the Adrestian Empire, and Edelgard's own family as it carries the roaring winds of war across Fodlan. A threat from a past so ancient it predates even Fodlan's oldest and murkiest myths is stirring, threatening to tear time itself asunder — and it may be her only way back home.
