    It was a messy thing of leather and papers and rope. It looked like Phillips had carelessly thrown a bunch of documents onto an old piece of black leather and then rolled the whole thing up and tied it . . . The papers inside were all different sizes, everything out of order and haphazardly stacked, like someone had been in a hurry and just grabbed it all.

    Supergrandpas knit, adopt animals, attend the therapy they need, are kind of assholes and ultimately just really love each other.

    “We couldn’t have animals Before.” Steve says, eyes wide and innocent as he settles his chin between Missy’s shoulders, his arms wrapped around her giant fluffy body where she’s seated up on the couch next to him. Bucky knows the game Steve is playing, and he’s more than willing to play along.

    “Yeah, Stevie here had horrible allergies.” Bucky contributes, patting at Steve’s shoulder in a faux consoling gesture. “Couldn’t get near someone who’d been around a fuzzy animal, let alone the animal itself. Plus Hydra definitely never let me have a pet.” He widens his eyes and looks sad for dramatic effect.

    A bomb goes off on a mission, and Bucky throws himself in front of Peter. Peter gets cracked ribs and a concussion. Bucky gets off worse. Steve doesn't think he can stand losing him again.

    Summary

    This series is set in the verse of Owlet's Infinite Coffee and Protection Detail, which is absolutely wonderful.

    If you like friendship and lots of fluff with some angst and hurt/comfort on the side, this series is for you! It's centered around Peter and Bucky's friendship, but has a lot of Superfamily content, too. I hope you enjoy; I've had a lot of fun writing this!
