Summary
Being in a relationship with San, then, is hard for Hongjoong.
He enjoys loving San and being loved by him, but he's very particular about the way he loves and lets himself being loved. He likes physical contact but only on certain situations. He likes kisses but only when they're in private. He likes passing time with San but he also needs extensive periods of time being alone. And San is so touchy, he likes kissing Hongjoong so much, he likes spending time with him even more… so Hongjoong feels like he's not enough for his new boyfriend. The only boyfriend he's had ever since he started college.
Grabbing the radio, he puts one of his physical CD's and presses play, not really minding what songs are there. He just needs some background music to distract himself from all of those insecurities and enjoy this first time with San. And when he turns around towards the bed, he looks at his boyfriend carefully.
As if simply looking at him could be dangerous for him.

Hongjoong had the worst luck, getting assigned not one, but two powerful espers to provide guiding for. And when he gets to know the two in person, it just keeps getting worse.

Hongjoong freezes and it feels like that noise is rattling around in his brain with reverb, he'd never heard the other make a sound even similar to that before, something so needy, so desperate, so altogether… effeminate.
Hongjoong is powerless to stop the smirk he feels playing on his lips as he leans in towards San's face, never breaking eye contact. The movement pushes his wrist harder into the pillow and San makes no move to stop it.
"Oh" Hongjoong breathes, inches away from his mouth. "You liked that, didn't you?"

Summary
It isn’t easy being the pack alpha of an all-alpha pack, especially in the idol world. Tempers flare easily, and the pack alpha is supposed to minimize conflict and be the unquestionable leader—the alpha of alphas.
Admittedly, Hongjoong has no real right to hold such a title, but after nearly a decade, he’s gotten decent at faking alpha. Omegas don’t last long in this industry, not in the leader position. So what if he’s lying to everyone he loves? It’s a sacrifice for the good of ATEEZ, and Hongjoong will do anything for his members.
They’re why he keeps a bottle of “Automatic Alpha” pheromone spray in his bag and has a lock on his desk drawer where he keeps it with his suppressants, so they don’t suffer the stigma of an omega leader. They’re why he stays in the studio until the sun rises, so he can give them the best comeback.
It’s not like Hongjoong would be a good omega anyway. Not the one that his pack deserves, at least.

It’s difficult to be the pack alpha of any pack. Hongjoong knows this better than most. As the Captain of ATEEZ, an all-alpha pack and idol group, Hongjoong tries his best. Of course, it would help if he were an actual alpha and not an omega pretending.

Something feels wrong — at least that’s what Seonghwa says before he deep cleans the house, trying to rid himself of the horrid itching under his skin. He does not intend to alienate one of his pack’s Omegas in the process, nor completely piss the other one off, but that’s what happens, and now Wooyoung, picking up his own shattered pieces, needs to find his Luna and figure out what’s going on.
