    "Is this a fucking joke?" Dabi laughed, hollow. Except, the voice was not Dabis. It was his own voice. Hawks' voice.
    It was his voice, because Dabi currently seemed to be inhabiting Hawks' body. 
    "I guess that kid had a body swap quirk." Hawks supplied flatly. Except, the voice that spoke was Dabi's. He was in… Dabi's body. 

    Dabi and Hawks are hit by a bodyswap quirk. Literally living a day in your enemy's shoes can teach a guy a thing or two, who'd have thought it.

    “Dr. Chuu said your foot needs to stay elevated?” Dabi’s voice is a low rumble on his skin.

    “Yes,” Hawks says, staring in wonder as Dabi moves his leg further up his shoulder. The staples of his hand are cold and shocking on his skin but growing warmer by the second. His normally cool fingers are hot as they play at the compression stirrup of his leggings from his hero uniform that Hawks had kept on. Hawks is stunningly aware of the size of Dabi’s hands, his fingers, compared to his feet––compared to his calves. His opposite hand taps at the compression sleeve containing his swollen ankle, fingering over the black fabric and fibers. “You plan on helping with that?”

    Or, Hawks is sent home from patrol by his agency doctor over a sprained ankle, and Dabi comes back to the apartment to find Hawks in a precarious situation.
