    Bakugou hits the ground hard. He rolls with the momentum, wheezing, the impact forcing the air out of his aching lungs. His eyes blink open, cheek pressed against the cold concrete. The world spins dizzyingly before settling to grey.

    He tries to push off the ground but pain shoots through his left arm and he collapses with a shout. He glances down, panic quickening his heartbeat. The sin around his bicep has disintegrated. Flesh peels away in thick flakes until he can see the white of his bone. Bile rises in his throat but he swallows it down, blinking hard against the tears welling in his eyes.

    all he can think about is that he needs to move. he needs to move his feet, run into battle, and save his husband. he needs to move but he can’t. his feet won’t budge. as much as he strains his body, as much as he screams and growls and sobs, he can’t move. katsuki, his husband, is dying in front of his eyes and he can’t do anything about it; forced to watch the one constant in his life be clawed and snatched out of his grasp.

    OR: even as the light left katsukis eyes, the pleading in them never faltered. the pleading for his husband, his hero, his shield to come and save him. or at least kiss him goodbye; kiss him until he reached his final breath.

    OR: kirishima has the worst, never ending nightmare of his life. thankfully, his husband is always there to pick up the pieces.

    It’s October again, and you know what that means: it’s time to whump one of my favorite characters again! :D

    This year, it’ll be poor Bakugou Katsuki. Class 1-A is aged up to be Pro Heroes (unless I mark a chapter otherwise). This will be bloody and painful, but there will be NO major character death, and NO sad endings! Just some good old hurt juice for Bakugou, and maybe his friends every once in a while too.

    A/N: as of now, I’m finished with this work, though I may add a few more chapters later after I get caught up on some other projects!
