Summary
Bode died, and got everything he wanted: Kata safe, and Cal forced into understanding that Tanalorr could never be the universal haven he thought. So when he wakes up in the past, Bode doesn't see it as a chance at redemption – just the knife edge to oblivion he already walked once, and now he has to do it all over again.
Or: Bode's only priority when death throws him back to the beginning is to try and get the exact same ending as the first time. It's harder than he thinks.

Summary
“I know you’re there,” The prisoner said suddenly, and Sokka flinched. Probably male then. His voice was raspy, yet gentle in tone. It made him sound younger than Sokka imagined him to be. “What? You’re not being very subtle.”
Sokka felt his throat bob nervously. “Umm, sorry?”
The prisoner didn’t move, and Sokka chose his words carefully - he might as well try and make friendly with the dude, lower his chance of being murdered in his sleep. “I’m Sokka. I don’t suppose you have a name?”
There was a silence, and Sokka imagined he too was choosing his best option. “Lee.”
A nice, common Fire Nation name, if the scrolls he’d read were anything to go by. Also a lie, most likely, but Sokka wasn’t sure if he wanted to pry.
-~-
Six years after Firelord Iroh’s rise to power, Moon Prince Sokka of the Northern Water Tribe is kidnapped by rebels, threatening the fragile peace of the four nations. Katara vows to find her brother no matter who or what stands in her way.
Meanwhile, trapped in the clutches of Fire Nation rebels, Sokka forges a tentative alliance with a fellow prisoner who might just be his key to escape… But only if they can trust each other.
