Nancy bit back a laugh. “You know what my car looks like.”
“Yeah, but that’s the beginning and end of the list of things I’m going to recognize for the next few days.”
“Feeling homesick?”
“Not anymore,” Robin said, so earnestly that she couldn’t have been talking about the license plate. Nancy blushed.

Summary
Kyoshi, Wong and Kirima get high on hashish together. An occasionally lighthearted character study of Kyoshi as she is still finding her way as an Avatar, plus adding that Wong and Kirima interaction that was missing in ‘Shadow’. Also includes allusions to violence and some Rangi related thirst because hey, this is Avatar Kyoshi we’re talking about and it’s not a Kyoshi story without a corpse or two and our heroine lusting after her girlfriend. Takes place 6 months after the events of Shadow of Kyoshi. Yes I named it after 2 Chris Stapleton songs because I picture Kyoshi as a country fan.
Now with a second chapter, from Rangi's POV set a few months later.

Summary
The fox was lying on its stomach with its front legs sprawled over Rangi’s. She was rubbing its ears as she fed it berries, and she was saying something to it that Kyoshi couldn’t hear.
The fox stretched up to gently pluck a berry from Rangi’s slender fingers and pointedly made eye contact with Kyoshi across the distance before lowering its head into Rangi’s lap. Rangi exclaimed and grabbed the fox around its torso to bring it up and kiss the top of its head, followed quickly by a peck on both cheeks, then finally, one last kiss on the nose.
Kyoshi pursed her lips and stepped back to where they were out of her line of sight.

After Kyoshi communes with Kuruk, she makes her way back to the Fire Nation. Rangi is waiting. She always is.
A short fic about how Kyoshi and Rangi reconcile after they separate in "Shadow of Kyoshi." Kyoshi is sad and Rangi is mad, but it all ends ok. Complete.
