Summary
Caelus’ situation with the stellaron inside his chest deteriorates as time passes and Dan Heng is left dealing with what it means for them.

Once the inevitable tragedy does commence, neither of them is prepared at all, least of all Dan Heng.
Being prepared for it was an impossibility to begin with, but due to the fact that it completely catches them off-guard, it makes it all the harder to accept. To expect a tragedy is one thing, one can try and brace themselves for it. But for it to completely blindside them, one can’t quite account for.
It doesn’t happen on a mission, is the thing.

"You are so beautiful," he blurts out unabashed and watches in real-time as Ororon’s cheeks gain a darker tint. It’s adorable, Ifa thinks. The red quite suits him.
"Stop it," Ororon mumbles back and looks away. His shyness, or rather inability to accept any kind of flattery always makes Ifa ponder, and this time it’s no different. Because complimenting Ororon? It’s like pouring light into a broken cup and watching it spill through his fingers. He doesn’t know how to hold it and most certainly doesn’t think he deserves to at all. But by the archons— he’s never more beautiful than during the moments he tries to scoop it up and hold it close to his fractured soul.

Summary
When Dan Heng and Caelus descended to Amphoreus, Caelus died.
Dan Heng didn't take it so well.-
Dan Heng feels a warm trickle of blood on the side of his head, right where the pain turns into a continuous stab and he feels his hand come away wet when he touches it. The wound is still bleeding, and probably will be for a while, he assesses. But right now, he couldn’t care less. He simply hopes he can find Caelus before his body makes him pass out again.
He calls his partner’s name once more and almost can’t hear himself over the ringing in his ears, but as his gaze flits around the compartment, his breath gets stuck in his throat. There in the far end corner of the small car lays Caelus, unresponsive and definitely bleeding from more than one wound as far as Dan Heng can see.

There had been something between them, of that Eijun is almost certain. Lingering glances, shared silences, hidden conversations only they understood. There were soft touches shared only between them, endless nights together beneath the stars, playing catch until way past their bedtime, even if they almost always regretted getting to bed that late in the morning, and their shared laughter echoing through the night until deep into the early morning hours.
It truly had been some form of magic. Electrifying in all the best ways.
And now, to Eijun’s utter dismay and heavy disappointment, they barely even text anymore.

When Katsuki is sure Izuku's fallen asleep, question forgotten, Izuku speaks up, voice timid and small.
“When did you realize you're in love with me?” Katsuki's heart stutters into his throat, a lump forming rapidly, seemingly blocking his airway. His hand flexes involuntarily where it lies on Izuku, his free hand clenching into a fist at his side in a moment of panic.

For reasons Ororon can't name, Ifa has been avoiding him since the war ended.

I wish I had the… I guess the selfishness to ask for what I want without reservations. I wish for a lot of things regarding you. And I pray for a lot of things from you as well. There are a lot of regrets I hold surrounding you. And I will probably hold them for a long time.”
Mydei slowly straightens his posture, eyeing Phainon critically.
“There is nothing stopping you from telling me now,” he says. “This is your prayer, after all.”

Summary
Mydei turned around, intending to survey how many Titankin were left and to taunt Phainon with his kill count.
Instead, his breath left him and a frigid cold rocketed through his veins.
Phainon stood next to a ruined wall, corpses of Titankin littering the ground around him. His greatsword was buried in the chest of a dying Titankin before him. But despite a second foe rapidly approaching him, Phainon had not yet removed his sword from the corpse. Sweat beaded at his brow, and even at a distance Mydei could tell that his breathing was labored. His hands left the hilt of his sword, and Phainon stared down at them. A mix of confusion and fatigue spread across his face. He stumbled, knees unsteady.
The Titankin behind Phainon raised its weapon.
Mydei had seen this once before. A great warrior brought to heel by some strange, unexplainable force, a fugue state descending upon them.
His mother.
Phainon is poisoned while fighting Titankin, and Mydei relives his worst nightmare. Injuries need tending, and confessions of the past and present are made.
